CanCycle 2023 is a cyclethon fundraiser, jointly organised by CSI Singapore, NCIS and N2CR, to raise funds and awareness for cancer research work done in the lab that will ultimately translate to better care and treatment for cancer patients.

In this virtual fundraiser, participants can cycle anytime, anywhere and submit results using the Strava app or any GPS enabled fitness app/ device.
  1. Participants will aim to raise/donate any amount from the time they register. Registration is open till 4 February 2024.
  2. Participants who have registered will qualify for event entitlements which include event tee, cap and e-certificate.
All participants who have registered and raised a minimum donation amount of $50 will qualify for an event tee.
100% of the proceeds will go towards CSI Singapore, NCIS and N2CR Cancer Research Fund for the purpose of life-saving cancer research, to support technological advancements and efficacious treatments with less side effects.

You can support us through individual or team participation by:

  1. Registering for CanCycle 2nd edition 2023 to cycle and raise funds.
  2. Donating to support your favourite individual or team in CanCycle 2nd edition 2023
  3. Forming a corporate fundraising team to participate in CanCycle 2nd edition 2023.
To support a participant or team, search for the individual/team you would like to support in the leaderboard and click on the individual/team profile. There will be an option to make a donation online via the profile page.

Donors who do not wish to make a donation online, please contact [email protected]. We will be able to provide a donor form offline for your completion.

Search for the individual/team you have supported in the leaderboard and click on the individual/team profile.

You may also pen a short encouragement message to the individual/team after making a donation or share the individual/team fundraising campaign to your social media accounts like Facebook.
There is a minimum target donation amount of $50. All participants who have registered and raised the minimum donation amount will qualify for an event tee.
The last day for accepting donations will be 29 February 2024.
There is only one category for this event, 100km. Participants can cycle anytime and anywhere. An event tee is given to participants who have registered and raised the minimum donation amount.

The assigned team leader will have to register as a participant first. He/she will need to fill in the Team Name and complete the rest of the process stated in the registration form.

He/She will be given the team code after successful registration. The team code will be used by the rest of the team members when they register themselves as participants under “Member of Existing Team”.

There is no registration fee as a participant and a team.

There should be at least 2 or more participants in a team. There is no limit to the number of participants in a team.

Participants should take responsibility for their personal safety and ride in a manner that does not endanger themselves and/or other riders.
All participants must register via www.cancycle.sg. Participants aged 18 years and below would require parental or guardian consent. Their registration should be completed by their parent or guardian.
No. For CanCycle 2nd edition 2023, you are free to decide on the route and distance you want to cycle.

COP uses the Strava app to track the distance covered. If you do not have an account on Strava, you will need to create an account. You can create a STRAVA account by downloading the app via iPhone App Store or Android Play Store.

You can also link your existing Strava account by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to my My Activity. Under My Tracker, click Connect to Strava.
  3. You must authorize Cycle of Peace to connect to Strava and check/ select View data about your private activities.

Your cycling activities within the challenge period will automatically be synced. No further action is needed. To know when your activities will be synced, check the notice beside My Records.

Upon verification of submitted registration details, you will receive the entitlements after 4 February 2024 by mail.

Your profile information will show the donation amount that you have fundraised to date. You may log in to view your profile page.
